Official Keys to the Repository Cover! · March 19. · admin
Isn’t the cover to ‘Keys’ gorgeous?! I absolutely love it! Remember that ‘Keys to the Repository’ will be released June 29, 2010! Also, the cover for Misguided Angel will be released soon– March 24 to be exact! I can’t wait! Also, Melissa has some upcoming appearances.
Also, the cover for MISGUIDED ANGEL will be revealed EXCLUSIVELY to EW.COM next Wednesday March 24th on their Shelf Life Blog. There will be a short interview with me as well. Cool beans, and if you click on their blog now you can see the cover for Cassandra Clare’s new book Clockwork Angel – a pretty awesome cover too! I like it a lot because the guy on the cover kind of looks like Chuck from Gossip Girl, and I am all Up with Chuck.
In more news, I will be on the YA panel at the Los Angeles Times Book Festival from April 24-25. And to my French-Canadian fans it looks like I might be in Montreal this November!

Misguided Angel Sneak Peek! · March 9. · admin
This is once again from Melissa’s March Newsletter. She gave a short sneak peek of Misguided Angel– which is tentatively to be released in Fall 2010! Here is the sneak peek:
There were seven of us at the inception of the order. A conclave was called to address the growing threat posed by the Paths of the Dead. Along with myself, present at the gathering were the Emperor’s cousin Gemellus, a weakling; Octilla and Halcyon from the vestal virgins; the head of the Imperial Army, General Alexandrus; Pantaelum, a trusted senator and Onbasius, a healer.
In my prodigious research, I have determined that Halcyon was most likely the keeper of the Gate of Promise, the third known Gate of Hell. I have come to the conclusion that this gate is instrumental in uncovering the truth behind the continued existence of our supposedly vanquished enemies. This is the gate we must focus on, the most important one in the lot.

Keys to the Repository: Sneak Peek of Sky’s Story! · March 9. · admin
In Melissa’s March newsletter, she gave us a short sneak peek of Schuyler’s story from Keys to the Repository– which is out in bookstores June 29, 2010!
From Schuyler’s story:
Three stolen kisses—what did it matter, really? Jack was never going to be her boyfriend, she thought, as she turned right onto 96th street. He was never going to sling his arm around her as they walked down the hall, never take her to Winter Ball, never declare his love over the PA system by mangling the lyrics to “Come on Eileen” as Jamie Kip did so charmingly last week when he serenaded Ally Elly before the Head Girl had cut him off. But Schuyler didn’t want any of that—did she? She had never yearned for popularity. It struck her as absurd anyway, to want popularity. Popularity was fickle and elusive, like trying to catch fireflies in a jar. You were either born with it or relegated to wallflower status according to the mysterious and unknowable workings of the universe.

Blue Bloods – Still A While Away · March 3. · admin
Melissa tweeted this yesterday! She mentions the ‘AuPairs’ fans, and there’s been a lot of really wonderful ‘Au Pairs’ movie news lately!
However, she also throws in that a Blue Bloods movies (if there is one) is still quite a while away. So, I guess we’ll just have to keep waiting patiently….and hopefully ONE DAY there will be a Blue Bloods movie or television show.

Misguided Angel’s Progress & More on Wolf Pact! · February 26. · admin
Melissa updated her site recently about the progress she’s been making with Misguided Angel! Also, she and her publisher seem to be aiming for an October 2010 release date — only one year after The Van Alen Legacy!
Over here at Casa Blue Bloods I am working on Misguided Angel, which has been really fun, the book is like four small books in one big book. A different way to tell the story again, which is both easier and harder. Always a challenge. But lots of fun as usual. Feeling good about the book. We are shooting for an October 2010 release date.
Also, Mel tells us a bit more about Wolf Pact…and her new adult book series Witches of East End!
For those who have been asking, Wolf Pact is the new series starring Bliss and a whole bunch of new characters whom I’m already obsessed with while Schuyler, Jack, Oliver and Mimi’s story will continue with the Blue Bloods series. Witches of East End is my new adult series, and has a whole new mythology in it as well.

Dreamcast the Blue Bloods Characters! · February 16. · admin
How do you imagine the Blue Bloods characters? Do you have a specific actor or model in mind when you picture Schuyler, Jack, Mimi, Oliver, etc?
Well, if you do, why not share? Send us your dreamcast and we’ll add it to the site! (Some people have already sent us dreamcasts in e-mails…we will add those! You don’t have to resend!)
You can send an e-mail to admin@thebluebloodssecret.com with the subject “Dreamcast.” Be sure to include you name, and clearly list the characters and who you think fits each character in your mind. You can also include photos, if you want….but it’s not necessary.
Also, if you have made a dreamcast video with the Blue Bloods characters….we’ll be glad to add those too! And, of course, we’ll give complete credit!

Hey everyone!!!
So, Cutenews totally gave up on me, and the news got all messed up. That means I had to fix it, so I figured I might as well change the site while I’m at it! So, here’s the new and improved site! Many thanks to Merissa at TrashGold for the wonderful theme that I edited. It looks absolutely brilliant! She’s amazingly talented, so be sure to check out her site!
So, I hope you guys like it! I’m STILL setting up a lot of the site. So, some links may work, some may not. I should be done setting it up later today!

This is an EARLY version of the Keys to the Repository cover! Mel was nice enough to share it with all of us fans on her official blog. I think the early cover looks so awesome! I seriously can’t wait to see the final version!
